BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH sells Austrian subsidiary to ZÜBLIN

Schrobenhausen, Germany/Vienna, Austria – The STRABAG subsidiary ZÜBLIN Spezialtiefbau Ges.m.b.H. and BAUER Spezialtiefbau Ges.m.b.H., Austria, will be joining forces in the future. With the acquisition of BAUER Spezialtiefbau Ges.m.b.H, ZÜBLIN is further expanding its expertise in this segment and bundling its offering for customers in Austria.

"For strategic reasons, we decided not to pursue specialist foundation engineering in Austria any further and therefore looked for a good solution for our company and the people. We have found this with ZÜBLIN and wish the team every success for the future,” said Peter Hingott, Executive Board Member of BAUER AG.

"This acquisition is an important step in our growth strategy. By merging with BAUER Spezialtiefbau Austria, we can deepen our expertise in the field of pile construction, and we are very pleased to welcome the new team to our ranks," explains Reinhard Kerschner, member of the ZÜBLIN Management Board. From 2026, full integration will take place under the ZÜBLIN Spezialtiefbau brand.

The closing has already taken place. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
