Bauer employees fulfill more than 150 christmas wishes once again

Schrobenhausen, Germany– When children’s eyes light up, lovingly wrapped gifts pile up, and the anticipation of Christmas fills the air, it can only mean one thing at BAUER AG: it’s Wish Tree season. On December 18, the company celebrated the festive handover of gifts collected by employees over the past several weeks. With remarkable dedication and heartfelt generosity, the staff once again made more than 150 Christmas wishes come true – each one originally displayed on a beautifully decorated tree in the company’s headquarters.

Starting in early December, employees had the opportunity to take a wish card and help make the dreams of children and families in need a reality. The wishes ranged from colorful toys and warm clothing to urgently needed everyday items – and thanks to the overwhelming willingness to give, every single wish card was claimed in no time.

This year, four social organizations received support: the ARCHE Dollnstein Children’s Center, A.p.e. Family Assistance, the Bambini House Ingolstadt, and IG Eltern. All of them work with children and families who often cannot afford larger gifts – making the joy during the handover of the carefully wrapped presents all the greater.

The initiative was organized with great dedication by Christina Biebel and Sabrina Krammer-Froehlich, who ensured that no wish was left unfulfilled.

“Our Wish Tree campaign has become a wonderful tradition that reflects the warmth and solidarity within our workforce,” said Lena Effinger, Member of the Executive Board at BAUER AG. “I’m moved every year to see the commitment our colleagues bring to this initiative. Moments like these show that small gestures can often make a big difference.”

A few weeks earlier, another gesture had brought joy to children's eyes: BAUER AG spontaneously covered the cost of the bus trip for the annual outing of the St. Maximilian daycare center in Sandizell near Schrobenhausen, which would otherwise have had to be canceled.
