Preview to Bauer Maschinen In-House Exhibition, May 2011
BAUER Maschinen GmbH has again invited all customers and partners to another In-House Exhibition for the beginning of May 2011 at its head office in Schrobenhausen, Upper Bavaria. On show will be the latest developments in specialist foundation machinery and equipment, making the In-House Exhibition once again the meeting place for specialist foundation specialists from around the world.
Just one year after Bauma, the companies of the BAUER Maschinen Group will be showcasing their latest innovations and developments in specialist foundation machinery and equipment. One of the machines to be the centre of attention will be the specialist foundation crane MC 96. By introducing this model into the range, Bauer Maschinen is closing the gap between the current models MC 64 and MC 128.
The low-headroom version of the BG 24 rotary drilling rig will also generate a great deal of interest. Its short mast will enable the machine to operate in very restricted headroom conditions, particularly under high-voltage power lines. In addition to its low-headroom capability, the rig’s rotary drive is designed for borehole diameters of up to 2.5 m.
One of the challenges for the new generation of specialist foundation machinery is compliance with Tier 4 engine emissions standards. The first machines equipped with Tier 4 compliant diesel engines will be on show.
The subsidiary companies of BAUER Maschinen GmbH will also showcase a whole series of innovations and new developments, starting with RTG Rammtechnik GmbH who will once again present several of their small diameter drilling rigs. KLEMM Bohrtechnik GmbH will show a group of anchor drilling rigs, including the newly developed anchor drill 909-1 designed for all standard anchor drilling applications. Other equipment on show will include a well boring rig by Prakla, mixing and separation plant systems by MAT Mischanlanlagentechnik, as well as diesel hammers by Pileco and hydraulic hammers by Fambo.
In addition to exhibiting smaller equipment and providing information booths in the large hall of the „Old Welding Shop“, there will also be another exhibition area that has proved an enormous attraction in the past. At the open-air grounds of the Aresing Works a series of live demonstrations of machines in action will again be staged on a daily basis. This year, the main focus will be the Central Development and Design Services Division responsible for the Bauer measuring and recording systems. Bauer’s largest rotary drilling rig, the BG 50, will be used to demonstrate depth measurements based on newly developed operating modes of the B-Tronic system for drilling with a telescopic kelly bar. Another demonstration showcases the process of setting-up a vibratory piling rig over individual pile positions. The precision operation of the GPS-aided system will be vividly demonstrated by covering the front window of the operator cab, making it impossible for the operator to have sight of the pile positions.
