At the CONEXPO fair in Las Vegas in March 2011 the BAUER Maschinen Group once again exhibited a number of products from its range, including drilling rigs manufactured at the Bauer plant in Conroe.
Bauer carried out the work on a diaphragm wall project in the Saudi Arabian port city of Jeddah using the new MC 128 cutter carrier. The foundation crane is the biggest unit in the MC series and enables cut-off walls and shafts to be executed down to a depth of 150 metres.
The BAUER Group sold its first deep drilling rig in 2011. The TBA 300 developed and manufactured by BAUER Maschinen GmbH was bought by a Venezuelan oil-drilling company.
