Bauer increases dividend proposal to EUR 1.00 per share

Schrobenhausen, April 18, 2008 – Management and Supervisory Board of BAUER Aktiengesellschaft passed a resolution in todays board meeting to propose an increased dividend of EUR 1.00 per share to the Annual General Meeting taking place on June 26, 2008 (previous year EUR 0.50 per share). On this occasion the Supervisory Board acknowledged the significantly higher net profit of EUR 74.4 million for the fiscal year 2007 (previous year EUR 35.2 million).

The complete consolidated financial statements will be published on April 22, 2008.
