In Dubai Bauer Spezialtiefbau UAE and Middle East Foundation laid the foundations for the tallest building in the world, the Burj Dubai. 200 piles of 1.5 m diameter were driven to a depth of 50 m, and 650 piles of
900 mm diameter were driven down to 36 m.
