Üsküdar Station, Istanbul, Turkey

For the Istanbul underground railway beneath the Bosporus, Bauer con-
structed the excavation pit for the Üsküdar station on the Asian side with 27,300 m² of diaphragm wall, 1.5 metres thick and down to a depth of 55 metres, as well as a jetgrouted base stiffener at a depth of 38 to 48 metres.
