At Frankfurt Airport's Terminal 1 a new pier is being added. Bauer Spezialtiefbau constructed a 790 m long and up to 12 m deep excavation pit with soldier pile-, bored pile- and Mixed-in-Place walls, supported with tie-back anchors or propped with struts.
