BAUER Resources GmbH: The operating divisons - an overview

Materials Division

The basis of this division was provided by the acquisition of the German Water and Energy (GWE) Group. The companies are dealing with the production and sale of products for exploring, developing and distributing water, gas and geothermal energy.

Exploration and Mining Services Division

This division has its origin in the operation of drilling rigs of BAUER Maschinen GmbH for the mine industry and has in the meantime become a comprehensive service provider for the exploration and mining clients. Today, it is concentrating on the exploration of: deposits, constructions in the field of traffic, disposals; on production drilling for water, oil, gas and geothermal energy; on special methods for mining mineral resources as well as on various exploration work for any kind of mining. For this purpose, subsidiaries and shares in Canada, South Africa, Namibia, Australia, Jordan, Switzerland and Germany have been founded and acquired, respectively. 

Environment Division

This division developed in the 90s from first activities of BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH in the field of decontaminating polluted areas and opened out into the foundation of BAUER Umwelt GmbH (BMU). Today, BMU and its sister companies in UK, Italy, Spain, Hungary, Oman and the United Arab Emirates are operating as service provider for complete solutions in the field of decontaminating polluted areas, cleaning and processing of drinking water, process water and effluents as well as extracted air. With the acquisition of FWS Filter- und Wassertechnik GmbH and shares of ESAU & HUEBER GmbH, the division could be completed by two competent plant manufacturers in the field of water disinfection, drinking water purification, high purity systems and brewing.
